Music department of our school has Sangeet Visharad for Music and Bharatnatyam and Western Dance teachers for activities like classical and western vocal & instrumental music.
Along with the prayers and rhymes our students also sing classical vocal forms like Dhrupad, Bandish, Tarana, etc. They are given special training of Indian classical vocal and playing western instruments like the guitar and the keyboard. Students from class IX to XII can also opt for Indian classical vocal as an optional subject and they score excellent marks in this subject. Our students from classes XII have also topped in this subject at the national level in HSC exams conducted in 2013-2014.
